The UW Department of Finance and Business Economics thanks all the many participants who helped to make what we believe was a truly successful conference.

Included are the welcome reception on the evening of Sunday, July 29, 2018 at the Space Needle, breakfasts and lunches on Monday and Tuesday, a dinner cruise on Monday evening, and organized events planned for Tuesday afternoon.

We were delighted to commemorate the anniversary of the publication of Bill Sharpe’s seminal paper, “Capital Asset Prices: A Theory of Market Equilibrium under Conditions of Risk,” published 50 years ago in 1964 while he was a professor at the University of Washington.
